Axium Plastics plans to expand its 110,000-square-foot facility that was built just one year ago. The 90,000-square-foot expansion, which nearly doubles its space, will lead to 40 new jobs and add $1.2 million to the annual payroll, says Jennifer Chrysler, director of community development.
The 3,000-acre campus offers a highly integrated cluster of commerce that not only streamlines manufacturing, but also creates enhances collaboration, innovation and speed to market.
In just a few years since the idea came to life, eight companies have opened facilities and a ninth, Exhibit Pro, an exhibition production company, has announced plans to break ground soon on a new facility.
While the concept isn’t new, the campus’ ability to seamlessly turnkey product manufacturing, labeling, packaging and distribution is thought to be a first in the personal care, health and beauty industry.
