Consumer Packaged Goods Companies Go Mobile
U.S. consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies are turning to mobile apps to not only retain customers but also find new ones are developing mobile apps for everything from special promotions and loyalty programs to coupons and product feedback.
In fact, according to a survey CPG employees in the United States, most major CPG companies have at least two apps while 30 percent have six or more apps with promotions and loyalty programs ranking among the top reasons. 80 percent of respondents said their companies had at least one mobile app.
