Have you ever moved to a new town and pondered the difficulty of meeting people who share your interests? Now there is a social media site, Cbusr that’s building a vast and viral community of people in Columbus, Ohio who are interested in meeting new people and sharing experiences.

Started in 2010, the site has more than 2,200 active members who seek to share their professional or personal interests – art, business, education, media, technology, community (you name it).

“Cbusr is an effort to bring locals together, share experiences and knowledge, and to help Columbus continue to grow as an inspiring and exciting city,” said Matthew Martindale, co-founder of Cbusr. “The website will not only feature inspiring locals, but will be the premiere Twitter directory for our area.”

Behind the site and the scene, is a team of creative professionals specializing in the interactive marketing and photography fields that champion all things local, supporting local establishments and promote them through various social media channels.

Innovate New Albany, the city’s incubator for technology startups, entrepreneurs and small businesses, features 16,000 square feet of space within the New Albany Business Park’s Signature Office Building, 8000 Walton Parkway.
