RevQuest Helps Hospitals Help Patients

RevQuest was created to help hospitals and health care systems retain more of the revenues they earn.

Keith Moody, the CEO of RevQuest, is a long-time New Albany resident who graduated from New Albany High School in 2017. Keith leveraged the expertise of his father, Robin Moody, and healthcare billing virtuoso, Joel Goldman, forming RevQuest’s founding team in 2018.

The team’s goal was to address issues with medical billing through automation and machine learning.  More recently, Sam Khozin, M.D., joined the team as the company’s Chief Operating Officer, adding value by leveraging his decade-long experience in healthcare, entrepreneurship, and data analytics.

In today’s world, hospitals frequently lose millions due to insurance processing errors and other types of underpayments from health care payors. RevQuest’s proprietary AI technology gives hospitals a highly effective tool to solve this massive problem.

RevQuest’s client hospitals wind up having greater financial resources. They are able to minimize the time their staffs waste untangling errors in communication with payors. And because they enjoy greater financial resources, they have the means to dramatically improve patient care!

RevQuest aims to recover 1% of a hospital’s annual total net revenue during its first month in service. In just the first quarter of 2022, RevQuest signed contracts with over a dozen new hospital systems. Across these clients, RevQuest aims to recover more than $900 million of revenue that otherwise would be written off as a loss.

Since its inception, RevQuest has grown to 30 full-time consultants, and it has helped hospitals from coast to coast. As one example, RevQuest recovered $3.5 million for Methodist Hospitals, a small hospital system located in Gary, Indiana.

The RevQuest team looks forward to accelerating company growth, fueled by the big value and high- level service it consistently delivers to its clients and their many patients.

Innovate New Albany, the city’s incubator for technology startups, entrepreneurs and small businesses, features 16,000 square feet of space within the New Albany Business Park’s Signature Office Building, 8000 Walton Parkway.
