Business leaders often resist change and prefer to stick with what has worked in the past. While there is logic to relying on prior successful practices and consistency is beneficial in many situations, there are times when businesses must adapt to changes imposed by outside forces, shifting customer preferences and other factors. And, if business growth is one of your goals, then change is inevitable. Join our presenter, Kathy Fox, for this TIGER Talk to learn methods to make change a positive force in your business, for your leaders and for all members of your team.
This talk will help participants:
–Understand why people fear change;
–Learn how to reframe change-induced challenges as opportunities instead;
–Develop strategies for successful change that will advance your business.

Kathy Fox is a serial entrepreneur, having founded and led private sector, nonprofit, and public sector organizations. She initiated the restoration of Ohio’s Statehouse and Capitol grounds and was the founding director of the Capitol Square Foundation. Kathy then served as the founding director of the Ohio Cultural Facilities Commission where she and her team evaluated business and facility plans as part of the oversight for $500 million in capital improvements funding invested in 300 community facility projects across Ohio. She now leads her own consulting firm Community Strategy Partners, LLC.
Kathy holds a Bachelors degree from the OSU Knowlton School of Architecture and a graduate certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Mediation from Capital University Law School where her capstone project included researching the application Behavioral Economics concepts. Kathy was also a Loeb Fellow at Harvard University and a Strong Cities, Strong Communities Fellow of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
