Everyone knows the importance of effective communication. However, unraveling the complexity of marketing and messaging can monopolize your time and bankrupt your budget. In this workshop, Jim Johnson, noted creative director and educator, will help you communicate the heart and soul of what you do to those who care. He’ll take you through the principles of purchase psychology, purpose-driven marketing, and storytelling. You’ll learn messaging techniques that will help you effectively communicate your story, market your products, and efficiently build your business. If you’re unsure about what to say or feel your messaging is not focused or inspiring, you’ll benefit from this session.

Over the past 20+ years, Jim has successfully guided, led, and taught cross-functional teams how to synthesize information into impactful and persuasive marketing communication. Based on his experience as a creative director at major advertising agencies in New York, Frankfurt, and Columbus, he’s developed and taught communication and marketing courses for CCAD, WVU, and Western Michigan University. His work has garnered multiple creative and brand building awards around the world. In addition to his teaching, he consults for a wide range of companies including, a biotech startup, art publisher, and a specialty foods manufacturer.
