Learn answers to these questions and more – in this fast paced, free-wheeling interview and Q&A with entrepreneur Daniel Moneypenny. Daniel promises this event will be “unconventional, fun, edgy, educational, inspiring, mind-opening, and – on the periphery of wild!”
We will devote a big portion of this session to your questions. Bring topics you are curious about. Be ready to learn – and laugh!
When you meet Daniel Moneypenny, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of emaginit, you will quickly feel his creativity, energy and zest for life. Unbeknownst to you, Daniel has an insatiable curiosity about YOU, and his mind is already moving “at light speed” on your behalf. Daniel’s unique, multi-faceted consulting business model combines his abilities to name corporations and products, lead value-creating brand ideations, and develop strong positioning for brands & corporations.
Daniel grew up in Northwest Ohio, with 10 brothers and sisters. Early in his career, Daniel served as a forest fire fighter in Los Angeles. Later, Daniel enlisted in the US Army and was stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany where he attended jump school, learned to parachute, and competed on the 12-Person Squad of the United States Prix Leclerc Team. Daniel was also a member of the 82nd Airborne Special Services.
Returning to Ohio, Daniel attended the University of Akron, majoring in Business and minoring in Criminal Justice. Next, Daniel decided to pursue a business and marketing career and launched one of the first free-standing shoe stores for runners, The Finish Line. The store was staffed by knowledgeable, experienced runners, including ‘world class’ runner, the late Ric Sayre, who qualified for 5 Olympic Trials. Daniel sold his interest in this business and launched emaginit in 1986. Emaginit is based in the Akron area, but Daniel constantly travels the US and to other parts of the world for his work.
Through emaginit, Daniel serves as “the idea machine” for businesses of all sizes….from Startups to Fortune 500 Companies. Per Daniel: “What I bring to the table is an understanding of both domestic and international inspirations/trends, reflecting them in a manner that succeeds in the marketplace. Additionally, my services enable expansion of an individual’s network. I connect business owners to other business owners who they otherwise would NOT meet.”
Over the course of 30+ years, Daniel has built his own personal business network into one that is both expansive and strong. Among his many current initiatives, Daniel is helping entrepreneurs gain broad distribution for their products in major retailers like Costco. And, Daniel recently played a leading role in launching a multi-city, festival-style event series called Beer Bacon Music, scheduled to expand to Columbus in Spring 2018.
Daniel’s compassion for charities, foundations, and worthy causes has led him to do pro bono work for 120+ different organizations. In his words: “I have been blessed in my life with my wife, my children, and amazing mentors and colleagues. This is my opportunity to give back and I feel good about doing so.” Daniel Moneypenny lives an Extraordinary Life overflowing with success, optimism, inspiration, and legacy, as the connections and network he has created, will live on forever.
